Located in the prestigious coastal suburb of Vouliagmeni, the Kivelis St. Residential Building is a new residential project designed by Danai Dios Architecture, currently under construction. This 4-residence development reflects the studio’s signature approach to contextual architecture, where natural materials, refined simplicity, and environmental sensitivity converge.
A Refined Dialogue Between Architecture and Nature
The building unfolds along Kivelis Street, embracing the topography of its sloped terrain while responding harmoniously to the area’s unique seaside character. The architectural concept centers around clean volumes, travertine textures, and linear compositions, establishing a calm yet assertive presence within the landscape. Natural earthy tones, travertine stone, warm wood accents, and exposed concrete form a serene visual palette that blends into the surrounding environment while highlighting the structure’s sculptural geometry. These choices promote longevity, tactile authenticity, and timeless aesthetic value.
Seamless Indoor–Outdoor Living
Each of the four private residences has been carefully designed to enhance the quality of everyday life. Large glass openings flood the interiors with natural light, while promoting a sense of fluidity between interior spaces and exterior terraces. With three private pools integrated into the design, residents enjoy a lifestyle centered around openness, wellness, and connection to the outdoors. Architectural Services by Danai Dios Architecture
Danai Dios Architecture was responsible for the full architectural design and the issuance of the building permit for this project. As with every commission, the studio approached the Kivelis St. project with a deep commitment to contextual sensitivity, material integrity, and future-forward livability. Currently under construction by Home Concept, the project is expected to set a new benchmark for boutique residential buildings in coastal Athens.
